BREAKING: The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals held Thursday that high schools are within their rights to ban coaches from kneeling in prayer.

“It’s legal for coaches to take a knee to protest the national anthem, but it’s illegal for coaches to take a knee to pray. America is screwed up,” he said on the “Todd Starnes Radio Show.“

A three-judge panel found that the Bremerton School District in Washington state can ban Coach Joe Kennedy, a Marine veteran and assistant football coach, from taking a knee in brief, personal prayer after football games.

In 2015, Coach Kennedy was fired after he declined to stop praying on the 50-yard-line after football games.

“Banning coaches from praying just because they can be seen is wrong and contradicts the Constitution,” said Mike Berry, First Liberty Institute’s General Counsel.

so what they are saying is they don't respect the flag, the anthem, or prayer but it's ok to burn the flag which should be a treasonous offense, what the hell is this country coming to?

But you can be sure that if he had a mat and was bowing to Mecca, that would not be a problem.

I wonder what cause(s) Resident Xiden was protesting and/or supporting when he took a knee (three times for emphasis) on the steps of Air Force 1. Any real reporter should ask Jen Psaki in order to ensure that his causes are righteous but not Right. After all, surely we don't want to have to cancel our very own Dear Leader.

This is my forum I created. Owner, admin whatever you want to call it. Just another Deplorable that saw the big tech squeeze coming and created a private platform to counter it.
And I thank you for this.

The story is a clear 1st amendment issue. The 'judges' are clearly wrong. 1st amendment applies to all or to none.
This is not a separation of church and state issue whatsoever.
Praying is protected speech, besides being protected exercise of religion.
