From a CNBC article about President Trump's statement:
“I single-handedly saved at least 12 Senate seats,” Trump claimed, “and then came the Georgia disaster, where we should have won both U.S. Senate seats, but McConnell matched the Democrat offer of $2,000 stimulus checks with $600. How does that work?”
[Almost seems like McConnell purposely acted against the Georgian Republican candidates. Has there been a power sharing deal agreed to between Schumer and McConnell??? But of course, these two candidates shot themselves in the foot also by not fully
supporting Trump. Now that they're out of a job, will they end up in something like a Republican think tank?]
Trump’s statement Tuesday also accused McConnell of having “no credibility on China because of his family’s substantial Chinese business holdings. McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan at a young age. She served as Trump’s own Transportation Secretary until January, when she quit his Cabinet one day after the then-president’s supporters stormed the Capitol.
[Hey CNBC, what are you pitching the soft narrative of Elaine Chao's background but not stating that her family family's shipping company. Many times bias is achieved by NOT reporting information that goes against the narrative.]
