I'm a deplorable patriot who proudly voted for Trump twice. But I can't shake the feeling that there is something not totally right with him. The awful conclusion I keep coming back to is that we are where we are today because of him.

I'm looking for clarification, not argument. And . . . I'm certainly not looking to upset or insult anyone since this is my first post.

By the way . . . I'm not the only one asking this. I've heard several key Republicans (pro-Trumpers) asking that he explain himself.

Crickets.

Here's my list:

1) He never drained the swamp (it actually drained him). During his presidency, President Trump failed to reform the organs of state power: CIA, FBI, DOJ. He allowed anti-Trumpers Christopher Wray and Gina Haskell to control the two most powerful secret police agencies in the country. He allowed Barr and Durham to fiddle around and waste time investigating the Russian Collusion Hoax. No investigation was ever launched into Hillary. Why?

2) BLM, Antifa and communists were in open rebellion in several American cities. Trump allowed Governors to "handle it" under his theory of federalism. But when it was obvious Governors weren't going to "handle it," Trump did nothing to protect the people of those states. Why?

3) Trump knew that the Democrats would cheat in the 2020 election. Yet he failed to stop it. Why?

4) On September 12th, 2018, Trump signed Executive Order 13848, placing the US in a state of emergency because of potential foreign interference in elections. He declared sanction would be imposed and ordered the DNI to submit a full report within 45 days of the Nov 3, 2020 election. The DNI identified foreign interference, but Trump did nothing. Why?

5) Several swing states violated their own state rules in the conduct of the 2020 election. Governors, state legislatures and courts refused to act. Trump could have declared that those states were in a state of Insurrection and sent in troops to seize voting machines and records. He could have appointed a special counsel or ordered the FBI, DOJ, US marshals or even the Secret Service to investigate and seize evidence of a fraudulent election. But Trump did nothing. Why?

6) Trump allowed the state of Georgia (that clearly allowed cheating in the presidential election) to cheat again in the Senate run-off, thus giving total power to the Democrats. Trump did nothing. Why?

7) Trump asked his followers to come to Washington, DC on January 6th, 2021. He promised that many incredible facts would be revealed. But on January 6th, he arrived one-hour late, his speech was lack-luster and he revealed nothing. Why?

8) On January 6, 2021, Trump supporters were clearly used as stage props for a phony assault on the capitol. The government knew it was going to happen. Trump must have known the demonstration would be highjacked, but he did nothing. Why?

9) Trump failed to order investigations into Chinese influence in the Democrat Party, American universities, sports, business and government.. When it became known that at least one US Congressman (Swalwell) was connected to a Chinese spy, Trump again did nothing. . Why?

10) Trump failed to order investigations into the actions of main stream and social media companies. He failed to press into investigations into the abuse of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. As social media gained its monopoly and silenced the American people, Trump did nothing. Why?

I think if you view a series titled Devolution by patel.patriot, you may have some of the answers to your list. I guess I would like to point out that he informed the global elites that he was at war with them from the onset. And he had an excellent start on every one of your posts. I am not certain how much you expect from one man whom was hounded by jackals, surrounded by several judas' individuals, constrained by the rhinos bought off by the CCP, and the ignorance of the sleeping citizens of USA. Not to mention the long systems of corruption in place for decades and the wealth of those trying to survive and cover up their criminal activity.

Here is how I define failure : you have not failed until you quit. I do not think trump quit, I think he realizes how just about every faction was against him. Thanks for the inquiry.

Are we supposed to conclude that Trump is the only patriot left in America with the ability to run the patriot house cleaning that we need?

I can think of a few potential candidates . . . . Gaetz, DeSantis, Jordan, Cruz, Hawley, Cotton . . . . even Marjorie Taylor Greene. None are perfect and as we study the carefully, we may find all sorts of problems with each one. But we can't get to that point unless we open our minds to the potential of a new leader.

Your list reminds me of how dems and the media blamed Trump for the way airport screening was handled by the CDC when Trump first ordered the travel restrictions. As if he should have been personally screening every person entering the country. He's one man, with a lot on his plate, and not a lot of cooperation.

Which gets to the heart of the matter doesn't it? Without patriot cooperation, he's not capable of leading the patriot revolution.

What the Italian Fascists, German Nazis, Soviet Commies, Cambodian Commies (with Angka) all had was a political movement to support the decisions of the top guy. Clearly, those were murderous, tyrannical regimes that we don't want to emulate, but we can learn from them.

Our next president needs to be capable of not just mobilizing big crowds but mobilizing senior leaders to run various departments.

Is that Trump?

I think Trump's venture into Atlantic City gambling is very indicative. He lost three top executives (Hyde, Etess, Benasav) early on to a helicopter crash and was never able to replace them. Trump and his remaining team were unable to manage the overwhelming debt and the casinos failed.

You said what the other gent said . . . . "one man." I agree. We need a leader with a good team behind him. I don't know if Trump knows enough people skilled at government . . . or whether he can motivate others to work for him.

This time, we should not be fooled by the huge crowds in front of the podium into thinking that we can defeat the swamp creatures. We need to look carefully at the team he's brining with him.

Wow, thank you for articulating many of the concerns we have been discussing in our home, as well. I would add one more thing and that is how Trump continues to push the vaccines.

I will be pleased to give you some clarification, and no argument. Oh, and yes, we do want Trump back in the White House.

Everyone, let me wrap this crap up. (It would be nice not to send arteries to a cancer, but since others are doing it, I am responding.)

Confusedpatriot. You are neither confused nor a patriot in my estimation. Confused? You know exactly the wormy business you are up to. You remind me with this post of all the garbage in the vaccines. WE wonder, who put this slime in a supposed medication? Same with your post. What is it doing here? Despite the pretty words of deference you camouflage your intent with, you fail in all regards.

I won’t waste my time with your 10 points. The 1st is enough.

Lead with the truth “He never drained the swamp.” and then accuse Donald of not acting like a cross between Stalin and the Borgias. Use Presidential directives (or maybe you mean by some dictatorial power no one has heard of) to '"reform the organs of state power,” and ‘launch an investigation into Hillary' Why believe in Wray and Haskell and Barr and Durham? Where were you with all this character insight into 4 people doing ill things in a teeming mass of Government? Who would have ever dreamed Barr was such a chameleon? Yeah, but you Confusedpatriot, you knew it all along....

You ‘soften’ us up by saying that you are “.... a deplorable patriot who proudly voted for Trump twice.” I hear Las Vegas is giving long odds on that. (Just looking at you claiming the word ‘patriot’ in your handle makes me laugh.)

He never drained the swamp.” Even Jesus couldn’t drain the swamp in his time. Did Donald do his best? Absolutely. He ain’t God. I'd like more talk on what he is, rather than what he isn’t. Let’s try ‘The greatest president in the history of America short of Washington and Lincoln.’ I might applaud that.

Yeah, you’re new here, to wheedle us and slowly bend us to the correct way to think. IMHO, you have a ways to go. Oh yeah

I think Trump the man has many flaws. We all do. I loved his policies as they were good for average Americans and promoted an old fashion patriotism that we have not seen since Reagan. We were once again respected and feared on the world stage. Fear is a necessary component as it helps hold those countries that wish us harm in check.
Having said that, I have an issue with Trumps enormous ego. It turns so many people off and causes them to hate him and label his supporters cult members. I personally would love to see DeSantis run if Trump doesn’t or run as his VP. DeSantis is MAGA on policy but has none of the jagged edges Trump abrades everyone with.

As tempting as it may be at times, I believe it is dangerous to assume anyone's motives. How can you possibly know what is in ConfusedPatriot's heart to conclude that he is not a patriot? Wouldn't it be better to go through his list of concerns, one by one and address them, rather than to personally attack his character?

As I said in my previous post, many of ConfusedPatriot's concerns are valid ones, and many of them we have discussed here in my house. I don't know ConfusedPatriot personally, but I do believe we both are exercising our first amendment right to discuss these issues. This does not mean we are not patriots, and to assume this simply because we have expressed our concerns, is just wrong.

Finally, your comment that Trump is "the greatest president in the history of America short of Washington and Lincoln" sounds oddly familiar and has piqued my curiosity. Is this your own conclusion, or were you quoting something someone else previously said on this forum?

This is exactly why many voted for him the second time around, and I will always believe he won in 2020.

I tend to agree with your points in general, but understand the opposition was constantly working to tie his hands. However, I will add another point to your list - 11) He absolutely drank the vaccine narrative with Operation Warp Speed, which promoted a reckless industry to wreak havoc on human health and now human freedom when there were therapeutic avenues to sidestep the fear, the risks, the shutdowns, the mandates, and loss of liberties, etc... and one more point - 12) He is a showman with balls, but is he a measured leader who is able to clarify the cause without muddying the water with his own personality, which is often revealing of deeply seated self-centered blindness and blow-hard politics.

TY Highsea that was perfect
i doubt we will ever see the accomplishments in 3yrs of TRUMP ever in my lifetime again
not saying it cant be done
but it does take a set- to proceed
if it be Trump or another --lessons learnt the inner circle first must be cleansed
the 1st to question a rightful decision - forcefully shown the door
then the swamp not only his administration- but calling on the public - point out whos not American 1st if political if not political then DAS BOOT or the famous ""your fired"" we will help you with the paper work to go to your favorite destination -because America is so awful
BUT it takes -1st having the balls - to upset years of filtration of HATERs in the political circle (be it commies or otherwise)-(their only agenda take down America from within & getting rich while doing so)

I voted for him also. I don't blame him totally for the mess but he did make some very bad choices. He was too trusting in some of his inner circle I think but that's just my feeling. I'd vote for him again over any DEM and most GOP. I would rather vote for Gov Noem, MTG, Paul, or Cotton to name a few.
Or even Don Jr.

I have another tiny thought I wanted to add; it's not just the swamp creatures, which have their tentacles firmly rooted in a murky soil; it is also a Spiritual battle. And that being the case; I don't think any one can fight just the swamp on their own accord, there must a Spiritual power which intervenes on our behalf to drain the swamp creatures of their swamp demons.

TRUMP WON SO YES I DO WANT HIM IN THE CORRUPTED WHITE HOUSE.
I believe trump was ordained for two terms. However, I want the corruption out of the White House when he is brought back. Imagine what he can accomplish when he has a supportive, honest, patriotic staff. Imho, He needs to cease being so bombastic, maybe his little time off has brought some humility into his soul and language. I am curious to see what may have transpired WITHIN him. I have a certain suspicion that he will be even more abrasive, though.
