“Congress was meant to be a citizen legislature. Our representatives were supposed to go to Washington, serve for a short time, then return to live under the laws they made. This vision has been lost.

Congress is now a haven for career politicians who put their own power, perks and privileges ahead of public service. Even worse, they are impossible to unseat thanks to cozy connections with lobbyists and special interests.

This broken system needs repair. U.S. Term Limits is fighting to call a convention under Article V of the Constitution to propose an amendment for Term Limits on the U.S. House and Senate. If we do not act now, we may never be able to bring back government of, by and for the people.”

Guess what shut down opportunities for debate on this?
I love the mindset of every person who considers solutions this specifically, and can't help noticing how little most people care, and how determine the Solutionaries (h/t Maj Toure of Black Guns Matter) remain.

Special request for all additional members of Congress: insist everyone work from home. https://constitutionus.com
Nothing in #2 requires Congress to assemble in person.

(#1 looks like a problem, but can be addressed- h/t Ken Cuccinelli, former AG of Virginia: the Constitution is not a menu.)

Assemble generally means in person as they didn't have video way back when.
Or cell phones, pity though, we could have had a better record of events.
Suppose they could have had semaphore/signal towers, but it's time consuming.
Heck, old Ben almost got electricity going, but even so communications via wire was off a bit by, what?, 1832/1844-1787=45/57 years....

RE Special request for all additional members of Congress: insist everyone work from home:
by "everyone" I'm referring to all members of Congress.
Not the rest of us.

You're right.
I'm nitpicking over semantics, like a niche industry does annually RE that "voluntary" tax.
